JAX Perma-Gear FG Series

JAX Perma-Gear FG Gear Oils are high-performance lubricants formulated with polyalkylene glycol for gearbox applications that surpass the demands of conventional mineral oil-based lubricants. With enhanced lubricity, extremely high viscosity indexes, and extended drain intervals, these oils are suitable for a range of gear systems, including worm gear, spur, helical, spiral, bevel, and planetary gear applications. Their superior metal wetting properties ensure an effective lubricant film, especially on sliding worm gear surfaces where maintaining lubrication can be challenging. The naturally high viscosity indexes, low pour points, and absence of paraffins make them ideal for use in diverse operating temperatures. JAX Perma-Gear FG Gear Oils, meeting NSF H1 standards and Kosher Pareve certified, provide increased drain intervals, often three to four times longer than traditional petroleum-based fluids, based on used oil analysis. These oils are recommended for gearbox applications that are too severe for conventional mineral oil-based lubricants and comply with the requirements of 21 CFR 178.3570 for lubricants with incidental food contact.
