JAX Grinder-Glide FG-3H is a direct food contact grinder lubricant. It is compounded exclusively from carefully selected base oils and additives that are GRAS and/or safe for human consumption.
In many meat grinding applications, two lubricants are commonly used: one after the sanitazation process as a rust and corrosion inhibitor (this is usually not a direct contact product, and re-sanitation is required before use); and one as a start-up lubricant to provide protection to the grinder pates until the fats of the meat provide natural lubrication for the grinder. JAX Grinder-Glide FG-3H eliminates this two step process by providing a direct food contact lubricant that has unmatched rust and corrosion protection as well as the load carrying and lubricity properties necessary to eliminate dry start ups.
