JAX INC Announces Leadership Transition

JAX INC Announces Leadership Transition

  • April 8, 2019

Menomonee Falls, WI. (April 8, 2019) – JAX INC. and Pressure-Lube Inc. announced Kyle C.

Peter has been promoted to President and CEO effective April 1, 2019. Current President and

principal owner Eric J. Peter plans to step down from his present executive position at the close

of the current fiscal year and transition to product research and senior advisory roles.

“The product innovations and revenue growth facilitated by our employees, suppliers and

customers over the last forty years have been remarkable and something we do not take for

granted,” noted Eric Peter. “We have transformed JAX into one of the most recognized quality

brands in the industrial and specialty lubricants segment, particularly in our strong vertical

markets of specialized synthetic lubricants and FDA compliant lubricants for food and beverage

processors.”

Kyle C. Peter has been JAX Director of International Sales for the past seven years, two of

those based in Zurich, Switzerland. Upon receiving his BS in Material Science Engineering

from Northwestern University, Kyle was employed at Bayer Material Science for four years, last

managing the southeast U.S. territory for polycarbonate products division to OEM customers.

For more than 60 years, JAX INC. has consistently raised the bar for performance and

innovation in the synthetic, industrial and food grade lubricant industries. With more than two

dozen industry firsts in application chemistry for OEM designed machinery, JAX has been

responsible for creating new categories of proprietary and patented lubricants in several

industry segments. Focusing on customers and their machinery, JAX is leading through new

products and better ways of applying them, enabling users to greatly extend machinery and

lubricant life. As the JAX RPM (Research & Predictive Maintenance) Laboratory continues to

expand instrumentation and research capabilities with the vision to accelerate product

development programs and continue bringing improved offerings to market.

“Transitioning out of day-to-day operations will give me the opportunity to focus on long-term

strategic opportunities and new product development,” continued Peter. “I could not be more

confident in Kyle and his team and I am excited about what lies ahead for the entire JAX family

including employees, suppliers and our customers around the world. We have a great love for

this industry and for creating advances which protect machinery and increase their reliability

now and into the future”.
